Am frühen Nachmittag in den Hallen des Convention Center fand das Vorrichten für die Eukanuba World-Challenge statt. Echo ist in Sektion 1, von Babara Müller aus der Schweiz gerichtet. Echo hat seine Sache gut gemacht, wir waren sehr zufrieden, aber die Konkurrenz ist mega stark!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit Cindy (C-Quest Basenjis) und Russella (Jokuba Basenjis) im Hard Rock Cafe Orlando! Danke!
Bei Cindy hat Echo gelebt bis er im Alter von 18 Monaten im April 2007 zu uns kam. Cindy und Russella sind außerdem die Züchter von Jali (Ch C-Quest Jokuba Silent Surface) und Reese (C-Quest Jokuba Dandy Shandy).
A great evening with Cindy (C-Quest Basenjis) and Russella (Jokuba Basenjis) at the Hard Rock Cafe Orlando! Thanks! Echo lived with Cindy until we got him with 18 month of age in Apirl 2007. Cindy and Russella are moreover the breeders of Jali (Ch C-Quest Jokuba Silent Surface) and Reese (C-Quest Jokuba Dandy Shandy).

Erste Ausstellung im Convention Center Orlando, Echo ist in der sogenannten Best of Breed Klasse gemeldet und wird vom Kandischen Richter zum besten Rüden (BOS) gewählt! Die Freude ist groß, für dieses unerwarteten Erfolg!
First show at the Convention Center Orlando, Echo is entered in the so called Best of Breed class and was choosen best male (BOS) by the Kanadien judge! The pleasure was big about this unexpected win!

Heute ist unsere Holly 8 Jahre alt geworden und somit nun auch schon ein Veteran! Kaum zu glauben, wir können uns noch genau erinnern, als wir uns ganz kurzfristig für sie entschieden haben und sie dann eine Woche später (Ende Mai 2004) bei uns Einzug hielt.
Am Morgen geht es zum Frankfurter Flughafen, auf geht's nach Orlando, nach 16 Stunden sind wir gut in Hilton Hotel angekommen. Echo hat die Strapazen des Fluges gut verkraftet.
Our Holly turned 8 years today and is now a veteran too! Can't believe ist, we can remember as she came to us quite shortly in May 2004.
Early morning we started to Frankfurt airport, let's go to Orlando, after 16 hours, we all arrived well at Hilton Hotel. Echo managed the strain of this flight well.

Heute war ich mit Reese zur Ausstellung in Kassel und der Kleine macht doch schon wieder BOB (Rassebester)! Wir freuen uns sehr und sind superstolz! Im Ehrenring kam er dann noch in das Finale der besten Sieben! Echo's Tochter Ch INKA Bravo Bashira African Rainbow gewinnt das CAC.

Nach einer unruhigen Nacht hat Jill heute nachmittag die N-Welpis zur Welt gebracht!
Es sind vier rot/weiße Mädels und ein rot/weißer Junge.
Mehr wie immer im Welpentagebuch!
Außerdem erreichte uns die tolle Nachricht, dass der Vater der M-Welpen Ch Versace of Swala Pala auch nach dem Fanconi-Direkt-Test "frei" getestet wurde, d.h. alle M-Welpis sind ebenfalls frei von Fanconi-Syndrome. Vielen Dank Tani!
After a rather restless night, Jill gave birth the N-puppies today afternoon! They are four red/white girls and one red/white boy. More like always in the puppy diary. Moreover we received the great message, that the father of our M-litter Ch Versace of Swala Pala is also by the Fanconi-Direct-Test "clear", that means all our M-puüüies are also clear from Fanconi Syndrome. Der Countdown läuft!
Wir erwarten die Ankunft von Lishas Welpen Mitte/Ende der Woche, heute ist Tag 57 der Schwangerschaft und sie hat 2,1 kg zugenommen. Jill hat heute Tag 52 und sie hat bis jetzt 1,8 kg an Gewicht zugelegt. Witzig ist, dass Beide zur Zeit den gleichen Bauchumfang von ca. 51 cm haben.
Den beiden Mädels geht es sehr gut, beide sind trotz des dicken Bauches noch fit und gehen noch 3x täglich spazieren und eine Spielrunde mit Reese wird auch täglich mal eingelegt.
The countdown is on! We are expecting the arival of Lishas puppies mid/end of this week, today she has day 57 of her pregnancy and she has increases 2,1kg of weight. Jill has day 52 today and she gained 1,8kg in weight. Funny is, that both have the same waist circumference about 51 cm in the moment.
Both girls are doing very well, both are despite of her big bellies quite fit and go out for walks three times a day and they have also a daily playing round with Reese.

Endlich sind wir mal dazu gekommen Fotos von den beiden werdenden Müttern zu machen! Lisha und Jill geht es gut, trotz der bereits tüchtig gewachsenen Bäuche sind sie fit und agil. Beide haben jetzt ca. 1,5 kg an Gewicht zugelegt. Aber wir müssen weiterhin geduldig sein, bei Lisha
1 1/2 bis 2 Wochen und bei Jill 2 bis 2 1/2 Wochen.
Finally we could took some photos of the mothers to be! Lisha and Jill are doing well and they have both increased significantly in weight and waist. But we still have to patient, further 1 1/2 to 2 weeks with Lisha and 2 to 2 1/2 weeks with Jill.

Und heute waren wir dann zur NRA in Stuttgart, Reese macht das Unglaubliche wahr und wird erneut BOB und kann das Ergebnis vom Vortrag noch dahingehend toppen, dass er dieses Mal den Gruppenwettbewerb gewinnt. Super Waaaaahnsinn! Ich glaube, es wird jetzt wirklich langsam Zeit, dass klein Reese seine eigene Website bekommt!

Heute ging's zur großen Schau nach Luxemburg, 25 Basenjis gemeldet. Reese zum ersten Mal in der Jugendklasse, bekommt er V1 und wird Luxemburg Jugend Champion, danach noch bester Rüde und letztendlich Bester der Rasse (BOB). Jali bekommt V2 mit einem nutzbaren R-CAC und ist damit frischgebackener Luxemburg Champion und das mit gerade mal 22 Monaten. Im Gruppenwettbewerb kann Reese den Richter ein weiteres Mal für sich gewinnen und wird BOG-2. Waaaaaahsinn!
Today it went to the big show in Luxemburg, 25 Basenjis entered. Reese first time in junior class, he got exc. 1 and became Luxemburg Junior Champion, afterwards best male and finally Best of Breed (BOB). Jali got exc 2 with a usable R-CAC and is so brandnew Luxemburg Champion and this with just 22 month of age. In the group competiton Reese could win the heart of the judge again and went BOG-2. Greeeeeat!

Und schöner kann es nicht sein, auch bei Jill wurde heute defintiv die Schwangerschaft festgestellt! Mindestens drei Welpen konnten wir sehen.
Wie viele es nun letztendlich werden, wird sich um den 4. und 9. Dezember zeigen, aber Hauptsache, die M & N's sind auf dem Weg. Hurra! Wir freuen uns ja so!
It can't be better, Jill is also definitive pregnant! We have seen at least three puppies. How much it will be later, will be shown around 4 and 9 December, but mainthing, the M & N's are on the way. Hurray, we are so happy!

Heute morgen erreichte uns die tolle Nachricht, dass Lisha tragend ist, fünf Fruchtanlagen konnte der Tierarzt sehen! Wir können es kaum noch abwarten......aber, jetzt heißt wieder geduldig sein!

Mir haben unseren Zungu (Jamadari's Mzungu Mutabaruga) mit dem neuen Fanconi Direkt-Test nachtesten lassen und er ist nun
frei von Fanconi Syndrom!!!! Wir sind so glücklich darüber und freuen uns wahnsinnig für Michael, Tamara, Val und Bryan.
Wunder gibt es immer wieder, heute oder morgen können sie geschehen.....

Echo gewinnt die Qualifikation der Eukanuba World Challenge und vertritt nun Deutschland am 17./18. Dezember 2011 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Herzlichen Dank an das Richterkremium, Dr. Wilfried Peper, Stefan Sinko (SLO) und Ole Staunskaer (DK), die unseren Traum wahr werden lassen haben. Fünf Tage Amerika, 14. Dezember geht's los!

Nicht vergessen wollen wir außerdem, dass Jali heute auf der Bundessiegerschau in Dortmund ihre 4. VDH Anwartschaft gewonnen hat und damit in der Warteschleife zum Dt. Champion VDH steht.
We still can't believe it! Echo wins the qualification for the Ekanuba World Challenge und represents Germany on 17th/18th of December 2011 in Orlando, Florida, USA now. Many thanks to the judges Dr. Wilfried Peper, Stefan Sinko (SLO) und Ole Staunskaer (DK), who made our dream come true. Five days America, we are leaving on 14th of December. And we don't want forget to tell, that Jali won today her 4th CAC and is now in the waiting periode for the German Champion VDH.

Heute wurde dann Jill von Rene (Ch Bulldobas Cream and Sugar) gedeckt. Die beiden fanden sich gleich sympathisch, dass wir nun hoffentlich die Ankunft unseres N-Wurfes um den 09. Dezember 2011 erwarten dürfen. Anfang November wissen wir mehr.
Today Jill was mated by Rene (Ch Bulldobas Cream and Sugar). The two were found equally sympathetic, that we now hopefully expect the arival of our N-litter due 9th of December 2011.

Wir erwarten Welpen!
Lisha wurde heute von Tibo (Ch Versace of Swala Pala) gedeckt. Trotz der langen Anfahrt aus Moskau war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick. So hoffen wir nun um den 04. Dezember 2011 auf rot/weiße und brindle/weiße M-Welpis.
Anfang November gehen wir zur Ultraschalluntersuchung.
In Komarom (H) war Echo's Tochter CH INKA Bravo Bashira African Rainbow wieder erfolgreich und gewinnt CAC, CACIB und BOB. Glückwunsch!
We are expecting puppies! Lisha (Mutabaruga's Keep The Moving) was mated today by Tibo (Ch Versace of Swala Pala). After the long journey from Moskau it was love on the first sight! So we are hoping our M-puppies in red/white and brindle/white due 4th of December. Who knows maybe little Santa Clauses! In Komarom (H) Echo's daughter was successfully again and wins CAC, CACIB and BOB.

So, Jill ist nun definitv auch läufig! Lisha's "Mann" wird am 02. Oktober aus dem fernen Moskau angereist kommen. Jill's "Loveaffair" ist ja glücklicherweise schon in der Nähe! Die Spannung steigt!

Heute Nachmittag haben wir die tolle Nachricht erhalten, das Lisha läufig geworden ist!
Auf unseren Antrag hin, war heute Amtstierarzt Dr. Wacker zu Besuch. Wir sind jetzt im Besitz der sogenannten "Erlaubnis, gemäß §11 Abs. 1 Nr. 3a des Tierschutzgesetz, gewerbemäßig Wirbeltiere zu züchten oder zu halten", wie es im Amtsdeutsch heißt. Die Genehmigung wurde nach Begutachtung unserer Räumlichkeiten und den Basenjis ohne Beanstandungen und Auflagen erteilt. Diese Erlaubnis ist ab drei zuchtfähigen Hündinnen nach deutschem Gesetz Pflicht, aber hat nichts mit einer kommerziellen Hundezucht zu tun. Der Begriff "gewerbemäßig" ist im Tierschutzgesetz anders definiert und gilt rein zum Schutz der Hunde!
This afternoon we reveived the message, Lisha is in season!
In response to our request, the official veterinarian Dr. Wacker came for visit today. We are now in the possession of a so-called "permit, in accordance with § 11 para 1 No. 3 of the Animal protection law, to breed or to keep professionally vertebrates", as stated in the official German. The approval was granted after review of our facilities and the Basenjis, without complaints and conditions. This permit is duty under German law from three breeding females, but has nothing to do with a commercial dog breeding. The term "professionally" is defined differently in the animal protection law and is only to protect the dogs!

Heute dann "Bahn frei" für die Basenjis in der Windhund-Arena zu Hünstetten! Jill schafft den Hattrick und gewinnt das 3. BKD Rennen in Folge, Mama Holly konnte in den drei Rennen 2x den 1. Platz und 1x den 2. Platz erringen, eine sportliche Familie! Auch die anderen Mutabaruga's haben gut abgeschnitten, hier die Platzierungen:

Es war ein schöne Veranstaltung, sehr gut organisiert, mit netten Leuten und zufriedenen Basenjis. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr.
Today we were again at the race-track in Hünstetten. Jill did the hat trick and wins thrid time in row the BKD race, mama Holly was 2x 1st and 1x second, a sporty family. Also the other Mutabaruga's did well, here the placements: males/ openclass: Mutabaruga's I-jahman Levi 3rd place, Jack 5th place, Mutabaruga's Kingston Town 6th place, Echo 9th place. females/ openclass: Mutabaruga's Festival of Ska 6th place. Jammin' was allowed to do a veteran run and little Reese started for his puppy run first time out of the startbox, 2012 he can also run. It was a nice event, well organiced, nice people and satisfied Basenjis. We are looking forward to next year.

Nach wochenlanger Pause durften unsere Rennmäuse heute mal wieder richtig Dampf ablassen. Jill rannte persönliche Bestzeit in Hünstetten (31,23 Sek), Echo ist auch wieder fit und lief tolle 32,80 Sek. und Holly verpaßte etwas den Start, schaffte aber trotzdem beachtliche 34,3 Sek. (mit fast 8 Jahre alt). Mit dabei waren auch Moh, Jack, Gizmo, I-tal und Reggae. Jammin' machte wieder einen Veteranenlauf und Reese durfte auch zum ersten Mal Rennbahnluft schnuppern.
Kurz vor Beginn des 2 Durchgangs setzte wolkenbruchartiger Regen und Hagel ein und machte es leider unmöglich noch einen Lauf zu ziehen. Aber nächsten Samstag heißt es ja wieder "Bahn frei"!
Aus dem Ausstellungsring gab es diemal tolle Nachrichten in Mavon (F) wurde Ch Abuluka Gobu (Mutabaruga's Haile Selassie/ Ch Mutabaruga's Get Up Stand Up) BOB und BOG-2 und in Gimo (S) wurde Echo's Sohn Ch Zahleka Emile Emilion ebenfalls Rassebester (BOB). Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle!
After a long break our gerbils were allowed to run riot again. Jill run her best time ever in Hünstetten (31,23 sec), Echo is fit again und run great 32,80 sec. and Holly significant 34,3 Sek. (with almost 8 years of age). Also there were Moh, Jack, Gizmo, I-tal and Reggae. Shy of the second run, we had torrentially rain and hail and so it was impossible to have another round. But next Saturday again! From the showside we have again great news, in Mavon (F)

Heute waren wir zur Eurodog Show in Leeuwarden (NL), die letzte Ausstellung im Jubiläumsjahr der FCI. Es wurde ein großer Tag für uns! Reese bekam viel versprechend 1 und bester Welpe und Echo gewinnt CACIB, den Titel FCI Euroapsieger (der fehlte uns noch in der Sammlung) und das BOB! Mit CACIB in Dortmund (FCI Jahrhundertsiegerschau), R-CACIB in Paris (FCI Weltsiegerschau) und CACIB in Leeuwarden (FCI Europasiegerschau) wurde Echo außerdem "FCI Centenary Champion". Die FCI vergibt nur im Jubiläumsjahr 2011 neben dem Internationalen Schönheitschampion einen zusätzlichen Championtitel, den FCI-Centenary Champion.
Echo ist damit einer der beiden Basenjis weltweit, die diesen Titel erreicht haben.
Dann ging es weiter im Ehrenring und Reese zeigte sich wie ein Profi - kleiner Mann ganz groß - und wird schönster Welpe des Tages! Und in der stark besetzten Gruppe 5 schaffte es Echo noch in das Finale der besten 6. Wir sind so was von stolz auf unsere Jungs und können es immer noch nicht richtig fassen!
Today we were at the Eurodog Show in Leeuwarden (NL), the last show of the anniversay year of the FCI. It became a great day for us! Reese received very promising 1 and best puppy and Echo wins CACIB, the titell FCI Euroapwinner (was still missing) and the BOB! With CACIB in Dortmund (FCI Centenary Show), R-CACIB in Paris (FCI Worldwinner Show) and CACIB in Leeuwarden (FCI Europwinner Show) Echo became also "FCI Centenary Champion". The FCI awards just in the framwork of this centenary beside the international Champion an extra Championtitle, the FCI-Centenary Champion. Echo is now one of the two Basenjis worldwide who achieve this title. Then it continue in the mainring and Reese showed himself like a profi - little big man - and becomes best puppy of the day! And in the big group 5, Echo managed the final cut of the best 6. We are so proud about our boys and can't still believe it!

Mit der Zuchtzulassung von Lisha (M. Keep The Moving) haben wir nun auch die letzte Voraussetzung für unsere diesjährigen Wurfplanungen erfüllt. Wir können uns nun beruhigt zurücklehnen und auf die Läufigkeit der beiden Damen warten.

Grasbahnmeisterschaft 2011 des 1. Basenji Klub Deutschland e.V. in Tüttleben.
Jill ist in ihrem Element und erläuft sich mit tollen 31,10 sek. auf 350m den 1. Platz in der Offenen Klasse Hündinnen und den Titel "BKD Grasbahnmeisterin 2011"! Und Mama Holly wird Zweite bei den Seniorinnen. Platz 3 in der Offenen Klasse ging an die Mutter unserer L-Welpis (Ajibu Enjoy It), Joni, ist trotz ihre kleinen Größe eine richtig schnelle Rennmaus. Mutabaruga's Hope Road 56 war auch mit von der Partie, sie kam zwar nur auf den letzten Platz, steigerte sich aber von Lauf 1 zu Lauf 2 um mehr als 11 Sek., was ja auch eine gute Leistung ist! Mutabaruga's Lion of Judah ist ja leider noch zu jung um offiziell starten zu können, aber er durfte beim "Jederhund-Rennen" mitmachen (ca. 100m Rennstrecke) und belegte in der Klasse der mittelgroßen Hunde den 1. Platz!
Es war ein wirklich schönes Wochenende, danke an alle Organisatoren und alle die den Weg nach Tüttleben gefunden haben.
Wir warten jetzt schon wieder ungeduldig auf die vielen tollen Fotos von unseren unermüdlichen Hobbyfotografen Matthias und Sabine.
Grass Track Championship 2011 of German Basenji Club in Tüttleben. Jill is in her element, and with a great time of 31.10 sec. for 350m she was first in open class bitches and gained the title "BKD grass track champion 2011"! Mama Holly became second in the seniors class. 3rd place in open class went to the mother of our L-puppies (Ajibu Enjoy It), Joni, despite of her small size, is a very fast runner. Mutabaruga's Hope Road 56 was last, but she increased from run 1 to run 2 by more than 11 seconds, which is also a good performance! Mutabaruga's Lion of Judah was unfortunately still too young for an officially start, but he was allowed to start in the "every dog race" (100m) and finished with first place in the class of medium-size dog! It was a really nice weekend, thanks to all organizers and all who have found their way to Tüttleben. We are now waiting impatiently for the many great photos of our tireless amateur photographer Matthias and Sabine.

Weltsiegerschau in Paris! Wir sind super stolz, Echo wird erneut Vize-Weltsieger! Es war nun seine 3. Weltsiegerschau, davon wurde Echo 2 x Vize (Stockholm '08 + Paris '11) und 1x Weltsieger/Rassebester (Bratislava '09). Einfach nur gut!
Jali, perfekt von Rainer vorgeführt, bekommt V2 in der Jugendklasse, Jill und ihre Geschwister Ch Mutabaruga's Jah Glory und Ch Mutabaruga's Jimmy Cliff erhalten alle Formwert "vorzüglich".
World Dog Show in Paris! We are super proud, Echo becomes again Vice-Worldwinner! It was his 3rd World Dog Show now, therefore Echo was 2x Vice (Stockholm '08 + Paris '11) and 1x Worldwinner/BOB (Bratislava '09). Just good! Jali, perfectly handled by Rainer, gets exc 2 in Juniorclass, Jill and her littermates Ch Mutabaruga's Jah Glory and Ch Mutabaruga's Jimmy Cliff received all grading "excellent".

Reese bekommt vielversprechend 1 in der Babyklasse, Echo gewinnt die Ehrenklasse und wird auch heute zum Besten der Rasse (BOB) gekürt! Jali ist diesmal der Sieger und bekommt V1 und CAC. Ch Mutabaruga's Jah Glory wird mit V2 und Reserve-CAC bewertet. Im Ehrenring wird Reese Best Baby in Show! Er zeigte sich wie ein Profi! Und Echo wird von allen Rassen noch zum Best in Show-3 gewählt. Was für ein erfolgreiches Wochenende für uns!

Jali is this time the leader and received exc. 1 and CAC. Ch Mutabaruga's Jah Glory becomes exc. 2 and Reserve-CAC. In the mainring Reese finished with Best Baby in Show! She showed himself like a profi! And Echo was choosen from all breed to Best in Show-3. What a weekend!

2. Tag in Saarbrücken: Heute wird Echo BOB! Jali und Lisha (Mutabaruga's Keep The Moving) erhalten jeweils V2 mit Reserve CAC in ihren Klassen und Ch Abuluka Gobu (Mutabaruga's Haile Selassie/ Ch Mutabaruga's Get Up Stand Up) gewinnt die Offene Klasse Rüden. Und wir haben unseren 16. selbstgezüchteten Champion! Mutabaruga's Jah Glory gewinnt die Offene Klasse Hündinnen und sogar das neutrale CAC und ist nun neuer Deutscher Champion VDH! Herzlichen Glückwunsch Tanja!
Im Ehrenring präsentierte Echo sich wieder hervorragend, nachdem er dann noch ein riesen Stück Pansen von einem seiner Konkurrenten ergatterte, war er so gestärkt, dass er zwei fliegende Runde absolvierte und wir mit Best in Group 2 belohnt wurden!
2nd day in Saarbrücken: Today becomes Echo BOB! Jali and Lisha (Mutabaruga's Keep The Moving) received both exc 2 with reserve CAC in theri classes and Ch Abuluka Gobu (Mutabaruga's Haile Selassie/ Ch Mutabaruga's Get Up Stand Up) wins the open class males. And we have our 16th homebred Champion! Mutabaruga's Jah Glory wins the open class females and is now new German Champion VDH! Big congrats Tanja! In the mainring Echo presents excellent himself, then after he landed a big piece of rumen of one of his competitors, he was so strengthened that he completed two flying laps and we were rewarded with Best in Group 2!

VDH und 1. Klub CAC und Reese absolviert seine erste Ausstellung mit Bravur und wird mit vielversprechend 1 in der Welpenklasse bewertet.
Und auf der Ausstellung in Oss (NL) erhält Abuluka Gobu (Mutabaruga's Haile Selassie/ Ch Mutabaruga's Get Up Stand Up) die letzte Anwartschaft für den Niederländischen Champion! Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Großartige Erfolge auf der IRA Dresden!
Mutabaruga's Lion of Juddah hat sein Ausstellungsdebüt und wird mit der höchsten Formwertnote (vielversprechend) ausgezeichnet und wurde somit auch bester Welpe. Echo siegt in der Championklasse und wird später noch zum Besten der Rasse (BOB) gewählt. Ch Mutabaruga's Jimmy Cliff gewinnt die Offene Klasse und das R-CACIB und wurde damit neuer Internationaler Champion! Herzlichen Glückwunsch und vielen Dank Mirka! Jali startet zum ersten Mal in der Zwischenklasse, sie auch auf Anhieb für sich entscheiden kann und so ihre erste Anwartschaft erhält. Jill setzt sich durch beim CACIB Entscheid und macht es ihrem Bruder gleich und ist nun ebenfalls neuer Internationaler Champion! Hurra! Beide mit gerade mal 2 Jahren und 4 Monaten, gleich im ersten Versuch! Das R-CACIB bekommt Echo's Tochter Ch Hannah Ekibondo. Richter Piotr Krol aus Polen meinte dann noch zum Schluss, ich hätte wunderbare Hunde! Vielen Dank, ein tolles Lob für uns! Im Gruppenwettbewerb schafft es Echo noch ins Finale der besten sechs.
Great success at the IRA Dresden! Mutabaruga's Lion of Juddah had his show debut and was given the highest grading (very promising) and also best puppy. Echo wins the Championclass and was chosen later for Best of Breed (BOB). Ch Mutabaruga's Jimmy Cliff wins the Openclass and R-CACIB and is now new International Champion! Hugh congrats and thank you Mirka! Jali started the first time in Interm. class and won it, got so her first CAC. Jill received the CACIB and is now, like her brother, new International Champion too! Hurray! Both just 2 years and 4 month old, with the first try! The R-CACIB got Echo's daugher Ch Hannah Ekibondo. Judge Piotr Krol from Poland meant at the end, I had wonderful dogs! Many thanks, a big praise for us! In the groupcompetion came Echo to the final of the best six.
Vor der langen Fahrt nach Dresden wollten wir unseren Basenjis noch mal Gelegenheit zum Austoben geben. So ging es heute wieder auf die Rennbahn nach Hünstetten. Reggae und I-tal waren auch wieder dabei und auch Yao, der mal locker in beiden Läufen Tagesbestzeit lief (31,4 und 31,5 Sek)! Jali heute zum ersten Mal auf der Rennbahn, zögerte nur einen Augenblick, dann wußte sie, wie der Hase läuft. Der kleine Floh ist erstaunlich schnell und hat Echo fast noch eingeholt.

Heute waren wir erneut zur Augenuntersuchung mit Jill und Echo. Es gab keine Veränderungen zur Untersuchung im letzten Jahr und wir freuen uns, dass somit von Jills Seite unserer Wurfplanung im kommenden Herbst nichts mehr im Wege steht.
Today we re-tested Jills and Echos eyes. There were no changings to the testing last year and so we are quite happy, that from Jills side everything is fine for our puppyplans coming fall.

Echo, Jill und Holly sind heute zum ersten Mal mit speziellen Rennmaulkörben gestartet. Man kann jetzt nicht behaupten, dass sie davon begeistert waren, aber kaum auf der Bahn, war das blöde Ding schnell vergessen. Ganz davon abgesehen, dass auf vielen Bahnen nur noch mit Maulkorb gelaufen werden darf, hat es den massiven Vorteil, dass sich die Hunde nicht mehr im falschen Hasen verbeissen können und damit fast nicht mehr davon los zu bekommen sind. Jammin' machte freudig ihren Veteranenlauf und klein Lela (Mutabarug's Labour of Love) absolvierte tadellos ihren ersten Welpenlauf. Mit von der Partie waren außerdem noch Reggae (Mutabaruga's Cultural Reggae) und I-tal (Mutabaruga's Eating I-tal).

Fun - nice weather - dear people and crazy for run Basenji! Echo, Jill and Holly started for the first time with their special running muzzles. Can't say, that they liked it, but soon forgotten on the track. It was a good training, because at many tracks it's just allowed to run with muzzles and the most important edge is, that they can't bite into the rabbit coat, you can not separat them almost. Jammin' did happy her Veteran run and little Lela (Mutabarug's Labour of Love) completed perfect her first puppy run. Heute waren wir zur IRA Offenburg und es war erfolgreich! Echo wird BOB und seine Tochter Lisha (Mutabaruga's Keep The Mowing) - zum ersten Mal in der Erwachsenenklasse (zweite Ausstellung überhaupt) - wird beste Hündin (BOS) mit CAC und CACIB! Jill bekommt V1, CAC und R-CACIB in der Championklasse und steht somit auch in der Warteschleife zum Deutschen Champion Klub. Im Ehrenring schafft es Echo auf einen super 3. Platz im Gruppenwettbewerb (BOG-3).
Außerdem waren wir noch mit Lisha zur Augenuntersuchung und haben Proben für den Fingerprint nehmen lassen, somit ist von der Gesundheitsseite für Teilnahme an der Zuchtzulassungsprüfung im August '11 alles in bester Ordnung.

Jill got exc.1, CAC and R-CACIB in Championclass and is now in the waiting periode for the German Champion Club. In the mainring Echo was placed third (BOG-3), what is a very nice result. Moreover we have tested Lishas eyes and did an DNA fingerprint, so everything is fine from the health side for the breeding permissin on August '11.

Heute war Lela (Mutabaruga's Labour of Love) zu besuch, also haben das Neue Jahr mit einem gemeinsamen Schneespazierung begonnen. Lela kam überhaupt gar nicht aus dem Schwanzwedeln heraus, so groß war die Freude. Danke Heiko für die schönen Erinnerungsfotos.

Today Lela (Mutabaruga's Labour of Love) came for a visit, so we started the New Year with a snow walk together. Lelas tail didn't stop wagging, so big was her joy.
